Parent Appreciation Breakfast! Parent Participation Preschool Activities

A Child’s Academy is Gainesville’s go-to provider for professional infant, preschool, and child care services. Our top-rated, Apple-accredited center has been serving Alachua county for 40 years and counting. In this time we’ve developed long-lasting meaningful relationships with the families we’ve served and created a reputation as one of Florida’s best preschool. VPK, and after-school locations. At ACA we take the time to regularly organize parent participation preschool activities. We believe that parent involvement is one of the best ways to get your child excited about their school and learning in general. We have also taken into account that hasting such activities allows our parents to get better acquainted with our staff and Gainesville child care center. Our next upcoming parent participation preschool activity is our annual “Parent Appreciation Breakfast.” Our staff truly appreciates the hard work parents put in with their children while balancing their day jobs. Wednesday, May 16th, 2018 we’ll be inviting parents at both ACA1 and ACA2 to join us in the classroom for breakfast with the kids from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.

A PPC, or Parent Participation Preschool, is type of quality child care center that encourages parental involvement because of the link it has to early childhood development. There have been numerous studies that demonstrate having a parent actively involved a school-aged child’s activities can have an impact on several factors of that child’s development including academic achievement We have observed the same holds true for preschool-aged children and factors such as their preliteracy skills.

Many specialists have asserted that presence is key to this involvement. Children take notice when something seems important to their parent(s) and seem to then also take an interest in the said activity. At a subconscious level, you can help motivate your child to care for their school experience and activities by being present whenever the opportunity presents itself. So join us  May 16th at 8 am for the most important meal of the day and help your child get even more excited about their preschool.

A Child’s Academy provides the children we care for a safe place where they play, explore, learn, and begin to develop socio-emotional skills. Our staff has extensive experience and continuously received training in the form of required (yearly) in-service hours as well as childcare certifications. Our teachers absolutely love our parent participation preschool activities because it gives them a chance to create a more involved, communicative relationship.
