“Our daughter, Katie, has been at A Child’s Academy since she was three months old. We originally planned to have her there for one year until she was old enough to transition to the school that her older brother attended. However, it was such a great environment and Katie was so happy there that we never left! She has now been at ACA for almost four years. Katie has adored her teachers; they have been so attentive and have really helped Katie to learn and grow. Before she could talk, her teachers taught her some basic sign language to help her communicate a few key words. As she got a little older, Katie quickly learned all of her numbers and letters and now loves pointing out numbers and letters on signs and notes and billboards wherever we go. She frequently comes home and shares interesting facts that she learned about animals, different states and countries, or even famous people. The first time I heard my little three-year-old come home and tell me about Martin Luther King, Jr., I was so impressed! I attribute this to the great focus on learning in her classroom. There are even occasional “homework” assignments, which Katie loves because it makes her feel like she is such a big girl. We will be sad when it’s time for her to “graduate” and move on to elementary school, because we have really enjoyed our experience at A Child’s Academy.”
